Hi Ondřej, thank you for approaching us with your Granton experience, could you tell me about your role in Granton and the main responsibilities you have?
As a Sales Consultant within Granton’s Business Development team, I play a pivotal role that involves a range of key responsibilities. These include identifying promising new business opportunities through in-depth market analysis and strategic prospecting. Apart from that, I ensure their needs are not only met but exceeded. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is building and nurturing long-term relationships, which fosters trust and collaboration, contributing to our sustained growth and high level of client satisfaction. learned along the way.
When was the first time you heard about Granton? How close is Granton to your ideal workplace?
I first heard about Granton through my friend Vít Vávra. What can I say, so far I’m satisfied with the family-like atmosphere and the opportunity to work predominantly remotely.
Could you describe a particularly challenging project or task you’ve been working on recently? How did you overcome any obstacles?
While I can’t recall a specific challenging task, communication with some individuals from partner companies can be demanding at times. Collaborating with external partners often involves navigating diverse perspectives, priorities, and expectations, which can require a high degree of adaptability and diplomacy to ensure successful outcomes.
What do you enjoy most about working in the IT field (in your position) and what advice would you give to someone considering a career in IT?
In my sales position, building connections with new people is crucial. I enjoy meeting interesting and often inspiring individuals. A career in IT is undoubtedly appealing due to the diverse nature of the work and the financial rewards.
Can you describe Granton’s approach to staying up-to-date with the latest technological trends and advancements?
At Granton, there are many professionals who are passionate about staying updated on current trends and readily share that information with others.
Have you been involved in any company initiatives or projects outside of your regular job duties?
Occasionally, I come up with ideas on how certain things could be done differently from my perspective. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment.
Could you elaborate on Granton’s approach to employee development and career growth opportunities within the team?
Education of our team members is undoubtedly one of our top priorities. We organise regular workshops, provide educational budgets, and individually discuss each person’s career and direction. I believe we are good partners on their journey.
How aligned do you feel Granton is with its broader strategic goals and vision?
Granton sets ambitious goals, and everyone is doing their best to achieve them. We’ll see how it turns out at the end of the year!
